Parent-Approved Neurodivergent Friendly schools in Northern Colorado

Disclaimers

1: This list is not inclusive—if you feel that a school should be on this list, please feel free to reach out to me at angela@blossomcouselingco.com so I can include it.

2: It is your responsibility to do your due diligence when learning about a school. A school that is a fantastic fit for one student might be a terrible fit for another, even when experiencing the same neurotype. Private schools, for instance, are not legally required to provide certain services as a public school, such as occupational therapy. Use the search tool in Facebook groups, ask local parents, and/or request a tour to learn more about personal experiences for a particular school.

3:  It is your responsibility to investigate the enrollment process, as most of these schools cannot automatically accept anyone who applies, unless it is a public school and you live within its boundaries.

4: It is your responsibility to find out whether a school requires tuition. Some private schools offer scholarships or tuition adjustments—it is your responsibility to reach out to the school and find out. Schools that are early education only (ages 6 and younger) are typically tuition-based.
