Affordable Couples Intensives
Looking for a couples intensive but feeling some sticker shock? Most intensives cost in the thousands of dollars. Blossom Counseling offers intensives for under $1000.
Many couples prefer an intensive instead of weekly sessions so they can get into the work right away, or because work schedules make it difficult to prioritize a ongoing appointments. If you are a couple looking to infuse life back into your relationship, need help navigating conflict, or are a mixed-neurotype couple looking for support, we may be a good fit!
Sessions are held on Fridays and last from 9:45-2:45, with a 45 minute break for lunch and a couple of shorter breaks woven into the session. Snacks are provided for in-person clients, and clients are responsible for their own lunch—their are many wonderful options near the office in Lafayette.
Before our session, I will conduct a free 20 minute consult call to ensure that we are a good fit.
In our session, we will incorporate and practice time-proven tools by relationship experts Dr. Julie and John Gottman and Relational Life Therapy founder Terry Real. Each member will be given a workbook that will guide us through our session, which you will then get to keep. After our intensive, you will have the option to book follow-up sessions.
We will aim to:
obtain a deeper understanding of yourself and your partner
Understand and recognize your conflict styles/patterns and how to change them
Gain skills for managing conflict more peacefully
How to repair after conflict
Improve listening skills
Learn ways to manage your own emotional responses
Create a culture of appreciation

Investment: $900
A deposit of $450, which will go toward the total cost, is required ahead of the session in order to secure your spot.
